The Zamarr Institute educate/train children and adolescents with Autism, Attention Deficit and Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD), Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Learning Disability and other Developmental and Neurological challenges to be the best they can be in order to live independent lives and contribute to the socio-economic development of Nigeria.
The concept of The Zamarr Institute was born in 1991 to promote excellence in educational and training opportunities for exceptional children. The Zamarr Institute (TZI), a non-profit, non-Governmental Organization (NGO) has been providing services to children, adolescent and young adult with special needs including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome and Learning Disabilities since 2006.

To assess and provide early intervention for children who at birth and before school age, are suspected to have developmental needs.
To provide equal access to childcare and early childhood education programs for children (infant to 5 years), with special needs in a safe, stimulating and creative environment that focuses on the social, emotional, cognitive and physical development of the children and where mutual respect and sensitivity are nurtured within a culturally diverse community
We have classified our classes into Beginners Class for children between age three to fourteen and Advanced Class for children and adolescents above fifteen years old. Our classrooms are not crowded. We operate a day Centre working Monday to Friday following the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) education school calendar. Apart from our regular intervention strategies and therapy, we provide in-house vocational skills training in hair styling, braiding, bead making and shoe making for the children in our Advanced Class. The vocational skills training is geared towards their exit plan from the Centre to set up trades in the skills they have been found to be proficient in. Our Centre is in a mainstream school environment and that gives our children the advantage to interact with children in the primary school thereby giving impetus to inclusive education of the Federal Government of Nigeria development of Nigeria.
Before enrolment into the Centre, we carry out an assessment to determine two major things
